Cihan Motors Company operates branches in every city across Kurdistan
The Erbil Branch, which serves as the headquarters, was established in 2004.
The Suleimani Branch commenced operations in 2007.
The Duhok Branch was inaugurated in 2013.
The Erbil 100m Branch opened its doors in 2017.
CIHAN Motors Features
• Cihan Motors was the first private enterprise to import Toyota vehicles
directly from Japan following the Iraq Embargo in 1990.
• The company pioneered the Kurdistan Taxi Project, which involved the
introduction of 17,000 beige-colored Toyota Corolla vehicles sourced
directly from Japan.
• Additionally, Cihan Motors launched the Kurdistan Farmers Union Project,
which included the importation of 15,000 Toyota Hilux vehicles from Toyota
factories, thereby supporting farmers in the Kurdistan region.
• A network of nine Toyota facilities operates in Iraq, four of which have been
designated as Toyota Authorized Dealerships (3S Facilities - Sales, Service,
and Spare Parts) by Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan.
